Upgraded Mac to Mountain Lion - now My Book World Edition II(white light) won't mount

Upgraded Mac to Mountain Lion - now My Book World Edition II(white light) won’t mount.

I use time machine to backup my mac, but I’m unable to connect the drive to the mac any longer.

I have it connected via ethernet cable.   I have tried disconnecting it, holding down start button on drive for a few seconds, turning on and off my drive, unplugging the drive… etc.

How do I get my mac to recognize this drive again?

Please…

Thank you!

Yup

MBW not yet patched for Time Machine

wait for an update but I’m not sure if WD will support this drive on Lion

Mounts now, but only sees the ‘mirror’ WD Backup Drive as an option, not the main drive. Not sure what to do now…

Any ideas?

I had this problem except I am using World Edition 1 (white light)… I had to create the following Automator / AppleScript which I called Mount_my_NAS. Then added this to my User Group login items. Hope this helps.

unfortunately it won’t allow me to view your script. I’m going to send you a private message with an email address. Perhaps you can send it there…

Thanks!

Is there a way I can use this drive without running scripts?
