Upgrade to 04.01.02-417 is failing

Trying to update the my cloud to 04.01.02-417 though the UI, and it is failing (after reboot, it’s still in the old firmware).

Monitoring the /CacheVolume/update.log I see this before it fails - failed checksum.

you are  lucky it  is failing, please dont update, read my other post. this code will not work.

I’ve been using it since December – it’s running fine.

after investigation , i found that people went from older firmware to the newer one , without  installing in between , their wdmycloud stoped working.

Rewrite the actual firware installed on your My Cloud. Then, you will be able to upgrade to a newer firmware.
