Update problem

I’ve been staring at my update notification for a while and decided to do it today. After doing it all I get is a message saying device not connected. I’ve tried everything without success and am now the proud owned of a brick.
Looking at other forums I’m not the only one. If anyone has had the same problem and found the answer I could use some help. Photos, music, and anything I thought was safe now appears to be lost.

We suggest you to manually update your My Cloud device with OS 5 firmware version.

Also, make sure before updating to My Cloud OS 5, your device must be updated to Firmware 2.41.116 or higher.

I can’t login to my admin page to do that
