Unlocking drive with smartware

How can I unlock my WD passport essentials with SW on a GUEST / NON-ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOUNT?

I can’t start the unlocker.exe nor the SW software?

This can be done on almost all other EXT HDs so it must be possible

There’s already data on my drive and I would not like to wipe it clean/ format it.
