I’ve got a “My Passport Essentials SE” external drive and I have a password enabled on the drive, the warranty has only just expired.
When I plug the drive into my computer (or any computer I’ve tried, and I’ve tried around 6 running various versions of Windows) it fails to unlock correctly.
The screen comes up to unlock it, if I put the wrong password in it recognises that and lets me know, if I put the correct password in it sits there and doesn’t respond, eventually it crashes.
Does anyone know how to get around this issue?
