Unlock WD security on Android

Hi Everyone,

I have just bought a WD My Passport 2TB external hard drive and a OTG cable. I have copied all my files to the drive, and have set up a password.
If I’m connecting it to my Huawei P10 Lite, it says the drive is broken I need to format it. As I remove the password from the drive it works well.
Do you know any solution for using the My Passport with Android without removing the password?

It based on the mobile phone devices if it is under support or not. But mostly phone devices are not compatible with locked drives or devices and need to use in unlocked mode. You may contact phone manufacturer to know about the compatibility with locked drives.

You need to manually unlock drive before using with Mobile phones
