Hello all, new here to the forum but I am just here to ask for help. I was hired to clean out a rent house and the home owner said I can take anything that I think I can use home to keep. I found many great electronics including this external drive. The person who owned the drive set the password and there is no way for me to get the unlock password from them.
I have no interest in their data but if possible I would like to use the drive. Is there a way for me to clear out the drive including the password and start fresh or should I just trash it. I have no real use for the drive but I think it is a cool new toy I could add to my collection of computer junk. No big deal on this but any tips wold be great.
