Unable to wake drive remotely when in sleep mode

I have my drive set-up to enter sleep mode after 30mins of no activety.

Whilst on holiday i tried to access some files but was unable to access my livebook drive. When i got home i turned on my PC and the drive woke up as soon as i connect to it.

I am guessing i could not access the drive remotely because it was in sleep mode and i was not connect to my network???

Any ideas?

You’re using WD2Go, presumably?

Yes. On iphone. Havent tried via PC.

Ok, just making sure we’re on the same page.

So I tried using WD2Go while I was at work this afternoon, and the drive responded and showed me my files, so presumably it did wake up.

What symptoms are you getting that make you suspect the drive wasn’t waking up?
