Unable to view new files after change from Win 10 back to Win 7

Not sure if change back to Win 7 is the issue, but am un-able to view newly posted pictures & videos thru WD media player. All older files are accessible.
Need to know if there is a scan for new files or other fix?

Hi,

Does this only happen with picture files? Try to restart the unit to see if this helps.

Same with videos. I unplugged power, HDMI & Ethernet & re-plugged the media center box, Same result.
