Unable to see Album Artwork via MBL

Hope someone can provide some assitstance.

Having purchased a 3TB Mybooklive, I have transferred my music onto the Public/Shared music folder.

I can see this folder in Itunes shared area and can play any song from my mac, pc, Iphone or Ipad. However the album artwork is not showing on any of these devices.

When I look on the MBL drive, I can see it the artwork thumnail image next to each song

Also if I import the album from the NAS drive it then displays the artwork within Itunes?

Additionally some of the songs in an album get unlinked from the album and appear as unknown, but again when imported into Itunes are all ok. 

If anyone can help solve this, that would be great.

As far as album art goes:  Can’t be done.  iTunes doesn’t do that.

In parallel with this post, I enquired to WD support and they advise me that the NAS drive does not have any restriction on displaying a folder to my iTunes software?

I have two issues that I can’t resolve.

1. Songs from one album are not linked together under one album when viewed under the shared menu of itunes, but when imported they are fine.

2, Album artwork not displayed when viewed under the shared menu of itunes, but when imported they are fine.

They advise that it is something in my settings, ane are referring me to apple?

Appreciate anyone tghat can help.
