Unable to reply to posts

I just signed up to the forums as I have found a solid fix for this issue here:  http://community.wd.com/t5/WD-TV-Live-Live-Plus/Can-t-connect-to-youtube-account/td-p/394719

But even when logged in there is no option to reply. The reply button is greyed out.

Is there anything I need to do before I can reply to posts?

Edit: i see now from other posts that it might be because it’s old. But when no solution is given then why close it?

Yes, the thread is closed.  Closing them when they get real old is a standard proceedure.  If you want, I can open the thread for your fix.  Otherwise, you can create a new topic and post the fix in that, and refer to the older thread.  Also, this forum is for the WD TV Live and Live Plus.  Is that the product you are posting about?

Hiya,

I also can’t reply to some posts and in particular the one I want to post.

There doesn’t seem to be any point in starting a new thread as that one is not really answered and I’ve done a search and that’s the best one to post in.  Any chance you can ‘unlock’ it for me?

I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying.  Can you post the link to the where you can’t post a message?
