Unable to register products Web Error WE20229281

On May 4, 2012 I tried to register a drive I recently purchased and I got Web Error WE20229281. I filed an incident report and have yet to receive an answer so today I called WDC support. I was told that the website is being worked on and should be back up for registration in 24-48 hours.

WDC should put an announcement on the registration page rather than have customers waste their time trying to register a product.

You are right, I think is up and running by this time…

I was able to register 2 drives this morning. Still no reply to the incdent report I filed.
