I have a passport essentials III and I am having trouble pulling up files I have stored on it. The info was created from my Toshiba laptop running Vista. I am trying to read it on a Compaq running windows 7. I can pull up all my music files and video from Passport to desktop its just certain info shows a message of “path problems”, but when passport connected to laptop all info is there and accessible. Any help would be appreciated.
Did you use Smartware to backup your data? If so, when you try to restore the data, are you using the restore to original location option?
It is unlocked so now what do I do?
