Unable to install XP on new hard disk

I have purchased Western Digital 1.0 TB harddisk
SATA /64MB Cache

I try to install an old Windows XP (32 bit) version on it, but during the installation encounter an error. (Blue STOP screen)

Following some research I have created Floppy disk with files from Intel Rapid Storage Technology and using F6 in the beginning of windows installation.
I have tried with following 3 RAID Controllers:
    - Intel® Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller
    - Intel® ICH7MDH SATA RAID Controller
    - Intel® ICH7R/DH SATA RAID Controller

In all cases they install files and windows installation continues, but only to again give a Blue STOP screen showing that things are still wrong.

I have purchased 2 of these 1.0 TB Caviar Green hard disk and have never had problems installing hard drives before of all brands including Western Digital.

So I need some expert help here please.

Hi I would go to the Motherboards manufactures site, or if its a prebuilt system like acer or hp go to there site and get the right sata drivers for the mother board from there.
