Unable to find MyBook in local network

Good Evening,

I just purchased a 2TB MyBook Live.  I have it connected to the router (Verizon FIOS), all the lights are correct.  I can access the drive via web interface, but I can not see the drive in my local network.  Also, when I click on the view my files icon, the working notification comes up but then goes away and I am back to the user interface.  Any ideas?  Thank you.
