Unable to find a smart tv that recognizes my Elements Drives

I have hundreds of movies on two WD Elements drives (4TB and 14TB).
In the US I had no trouble watching these movies on my LG TV.
I am now in the Philippines and am trying to buy a smart tv that I can watch them on.
6 months ago, I was able to watch them on a neighbor’s smart TV, but it no longer works (the tv) so voltage is not the problem.
I think the problem might be that all the TVs at the store had something other than a Microsoft operating system, which is what was used to record, using my laptop.
Can anyone verify that I need a smart tv with a MS OS.

Thanks, Alan

Update-
Just found out that My LG tv probably had webOS.
The TVs in the store here seemed to all have GoogleTV.

Found this about NTFS recognition-

Samsung QLED and SUHD TVs support FAT, exFAT, and NTFS file systems while their Full HD TVs** support NTFS, FAT16 and FAT32.

LG Smart TVs: FAT32 and NTFS are supported.

Hisense: NTFS, FAT32, and FAT are supported.

Can anyone confirm any of this?
