Unable to find a cable that works with external hard drive

Hello.
I have two external wd hard drives wd2500mep / WD My Passport Essential 250 GB USB 2.0 , both work great and still working even when I have about 10 years with them, but since the beginning I had problems with the cable, finally the cables stoped working and I have bought and try with 3 different cables but none seems to work. Can someone please recommend a cable that works with the hard drives. Thanks.
