Using the My Cloud Home, Windows 10 is able to execute files on the drive, but when I attempt to copy files to or from the drive I get the message saying “Z: does not exist”. Using a command prompt Z: can not be access in the first place.
The drive works perfectly from the Mac, files can be copied to or from it, but not with Windows 10.
Hi @ladydeath2020,
Mapping a network share on a Windows 10 computer allows the ease of use and access to network storage content.
Please refer to this KB article: How to Map a WD Network Drive on Windows 10 and Windows 11
As I mentioned, the drive does map and I can execute files from the My Cloud drive, just not copy to or from using Microsoft Windows 10.
