Unable to contact RPC server error Windows 7

I just installed a new My Book 4TB. Using Windows 7.
When I try my first backup I get message: The RPC server is unavailable (Exception from HRESULT;0x800706BA)
I can drag file over manually.

What backup application are you trying to use?

I have the same situation as johnhoswald. I am using the backup program that came with the wd My Book (WD Smartware). Thanks
