Unable to connect to device via desktop app

Hi

I am having the same issue as described in this post  here.

I have a 2 TB device connected to a linksys router. I accessed the dashboard yesterday and saw that the device had no connection problems.

I have previously been able to access it via wd2go.com and via the Android app, but as this has stopped working I tried to access via the desktop app which was said to be better. This, however, doesn’t work either.

Port forwarding is set up properly, as no error message is displayed in the dashboard. The device works perfect as long as I am connected to the same network via the mobile or the laptop.

Please assist me in any way you can.
