I recently upgraded from the N750 to the N900 and plan to use the N750 as an access point upstairs. I didn’t uninstall any software. I just disconnected the N750 and connected the N900 to my desktop and ran the setup routine on the CD. Once everything was setup, I couldn’t access the settings to the router at all. I tried uninstalling all the software and reinstalled it, but that didn’t solve the problem. Any ideas? It just gives me a cannot connect message and windows says that the router is not accepting the access to it.
Have you tried pressing the reset button?
Reset button? I’m unaware of a reset button on this router. However it seems that a good old reboot of the computer seemed to resolve the problem as I now have access to the router settings.
