I recently decided to change one share to private but that share cannot be accessed from file explorer in Windows 10. It asks me for credentials which it then tells me are incorrect. I’ve made sure no other accounts are logged in, confirmed via net use that no drives are mapped, rebooted 43,000 times, and no matter what, Windows insists I don’t have permission to access the share. If I switch the share back to public I can access it with no issues.
Edit: I’ve read dozens of posts about this issue and I’ve tried everything suggested. Nothing seems to work.
