hey there, my thing is , i am unable to access my passport external drive… it was working
fine, it still lights up and is NOT making any odd noises… any ideas as to what the problem
might be would be helpfull …

Did you try to connect to a different PC, other port or with different cable?
It has helped me once I faced the same issue.
In case the issue not resolved, contact WD support.
