Long story short… I had tried to successfully access the mybook live from ubuntu…
Once i came back to windows. I get “permission denied” when tryring to access my share in windows mapped drive.
i cannot login to the mybook live gui also…
i still have ssh access. I forced the firmware update. that didnt fix anything.
i see some useful scripts under /usr/local/sbin that i can try…
I’ve already tried deleting users from ssh, also cleared all files under /etc/nas/apache2/auth…rebooted … still not fixed…
I see few scripts i could try in this order:
restoreConfig.sh
restoreUserShareState.sh
factoryRestore.sh ( with perhaps) a noreformat option?
Could any please help…
I have a second mybook live… that i used to rsync data with… But for now im trying to avoid formatting the whole thing…
