Unable to access My Book Essential 2 TB on my Windows Vista PC

I just purchased the 2 TB My Book Essential.  It said that the software automatically was installed, and I can find it on my H Drive, but I cannot access any software.   I have downloaded the 155 page manual, but that was not helpful in helping my access the software.   Please help.  Thanks, TIm

You might be refering to SmartWare.  If this is correct you can download its latest version from here.
