Unable to access device using remote computer or wd app

I have been having problems ever since I purchased this storage device 3 months ago. I cannot access my cloud with the wd app or a remote computer. If I access my dashboard and look at the settings, nothing has changed. Everything is still the same since when i set it up 3 months ago. I can access my cloud using the wd app or remote computer for 5 days. The next day, nothing works. I access my dashboard to look at the settings and everthing is the same. It will not keep a constant connection for remote access. Port forwarding is connected and port forwarding is enabled on my router. Any suggestions would help!

Did you set a fixed IP address on your home network?
