I’m looking for fast DAS (Direct Attached Storage) for (error-redundant) storage of my UHD video footage and project files for ADOBE CC and DaVinci Resolve.
The focus is on “fast” because UHD video data, i.e. with resolutions of 4K and higher, should also be processed online. Online should mean that the data should be both secure (error-redundant) and fast enough to access. Fast access is important to ensure that the above-mentioned programmes do not experience any jerks or other failures in the processing.
