Has anybody connected the UART on a gen2 single drive system?

I have never tried this but I’m interested. Lets see if another user has tried and can share some ideas with us?
The last few hours I connected – in Dutch, use Google translate – the UART, see photo in mentioned blog post. Pin 1 is square and on the board labeled with an white arrow, pin 5 is most closest to the edge. Pin 1 is TX, pin 2 is GND, pin 3 is Vcc (3.3 V), pin 4 is blank and pin 5 is RX. Don’t connect pin 3! Use 115200,8,N,1 in your favorite terminal program. I made an bootlog. After the booting is complete, you can hit enter to show the login prompt. Use your admin password. After login you become root on the device
