Trying to Place an order

This isn’t a great way to start a post but really having nothing but problems with trying to place an order through WD online. They advertise on the website ordering (2) WD 14 TB HDDs for $449.98 yet when placed in carts show regular price all the way through checkout process. I’ve called and the young lady couldn’t get the offer to work and I was supposed to get help within 2 days. Haven’t seen it yet over a week later. Either it’s a legit deal or not but as much as I like my HD drives I’m getting very frustrated. Has this become what it’s like to deal with WD these days?

I’ve used nothing but WD drives for a long time, typically Black drives, but this is getting difficult to understand. If there’s a warranty issue I can’t imagine the trouble that might turn out to be if I’m having this much trouble just ordering…

Any suggestions?

The drives listed on the normal WD page are a different SKU. Here’s the right link. You’ll find them under “Clearance”

That is indeed accurate and I saw that as well but still doesn’t bode well when it doesn’t redirect you to the proper model number. Fair difference in drives with slower read rates and buffer. The way the popup reads you can save $$$ by buying two drives BUT of a different model.

When I called support they didn’t even see this…and that was last week.
