Trying to log on to Mycloud home duo dashboard

Help !!

I am trying to log on to the dashboard over local network and when I enter the IP address serial number combo it takes we to the web page to log in and I get a mycloud page with network access switch only.

Tried other log on methods but no join.

Looking at windows explorer I see the cloud but when I double click it says network error (using windows 11 pro.

Main issue is I have added a user though invite and want to set up a mapped drive but as I don’t know the folder that has been set up for them I can’t create the share. Any ideas ?

Are you sure you own a WD My Cloud Home? It does not have a dashboard.

Sorry my bad is a mycloud duo

I have Windows 11 Pro and when I use this address http://192.168.1.92/ in File Explorer or Microsoft Edge it takes me to the sign in page. This is on my 2nd generation My Cloud with OS5.

My Cloud OS 5 Online User Manual

Yeah it takes me to the sign in and once I have done this it shows me my email address user name and a few options but nothing for network options shares or users.

I setup my wife as a user but there is no mention of what her folder name will be so I can map it.

When I sign in this is what I see, my dashboard. Your wife will have to create here own shares/folders and name them. It will be up to her what names she chooses.

At the top click on the drop-down menu beside the ? mark for help.

I think we are each talking about a different device. You must have a My Cloud Home Duo. I have been try to help you thinking you had a WDMYCLOUD Mirror. Did you look at the User Manual link I provided?

Hi,

Thanks for the help. What you show is what I used to get. Now logging remotely I get the attached picture.

When I login on the local network I get the second pic.

Do I need to download a program?

Thanks
