Trying to create safepoint, mybook says retrieving partitions

I’m trying to create a safepoint for a mycloud on a mybook. It recognizes the mybook but won’t let me select it (says retrieving partitions on a drop down from the drive). The drive is formatted to NTFS (I even reformatted it again). I changed the volume name as was suggested in another post. There is only the primary partition for the drive. Does any one have any suggestions or advice?

You should power cycle the My Cloud device then reboot to check for the Safepoint issue again. And make sure that the drives used for My Cloud backups should not contain macOS Time Machine or Windows System backups to obtain the best backup results.
