Trouble with backup and password on My Passport Essential SE (USB 3.0)

My backup program (AOMEI) backed up my computer to the My Passport but when I went to restore it it needed to reboot the computer to start. However when it reboots it cannot unlock the My Passport. I do not get an option to unlock the My Passport and therefore I cannot restore my computer. If there was some way of disabling the password requirement it would solve the problem. Please help because I am computerless at the moment. I cannot format the drive as I would then lose the backup.


In order to remove the security from the Passport drive you will have to connect the drive to another computer and use the WD Security application.
