Trouble connecting to MyCloud Mirror for backups and dashboard

Hi -
I’m using a myCloud Mirror 3Tb drive connected to our modem / router.

Running Mac OSX Mavericks - Just moved and switched from a Netgear DSL n600 modem / router to a Netgear n600 Cable Modem/router

I can see the MyCloud on my computer finder, can log in there and see all my files.

But When I try to run a nackup from the MyCloud, I get a message “There was a problem connecting to the server” . And accessing the dashboard (using ‘http://wdmycloudmirror.local’ ) is very spotty. It works sometimes, but more often, doesnt work.

Wireless internet connection is great for all other sites.

What should I do?
