Transmission App "No space left on device" error; (fw 1.05.30)

Hi

I have a new WD MCM with a 1.05.30 firmware.

(1)

I have installed Transmission App through the web interface. On my PC i am using Transmission GUI app to download torrents. Saving paths are set to /DataVolume/shares/Public/Transmission. 

When saving a torrent, after ~30mb of download, I get No space left on device message, and the torrent stops.

(2) I’'m not able to connect to MCM through SSH to install Transmission manually (using command as per this website) or to check if the root directory is full. Is there other way to clean the root? Does reinstalling formware cleans the root?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.

When you reset the unit you should be able to clean the password setup for the root user on the unit.
