I have done a complete file backup from an older Windows XP laptop to my older WD My Book external hard drive. I want to transfer the backup to my newer Windows 7 laptop. the Windows 7 recongnizes the WD device and files but the file extensions aren’t recognized, e.g. 8-16-2012.NBP and ArcNB0.NBZ. Do I run the uQuickRestore utility to move the backup to my new laptop? I’d like to keep the transferred files separate from my new files created in Windows 7.
My model # is: WD3200D032-000.
You need to install the program that can open the NBP, NBZ files on the Windows 7 computer.
