I have a large amount of data currently saved on an external hard drive that I would like to transfer to my MyCloud Mirror.
Any opinions on the cleanest method of transferring data between the two devices?
Plug the drive into one of the rear USB ports on the mirror and then use the web file browser on the dashboard to do the transfer, or better if you’re comfortable with Linux SSH into the box and copy things via the command line.
That way you’re not doing anything out onto your network which will slow the transfer down.
