I’ve found when transferring folders from the cloud drive, the item is turned into a zip file. When I try to open the zip on the mac, it is either corrupted or there is no content. Is there a way to simply move items from the drive to the MAC with out this zipping going on?
If you download a whole folder, then the folder will be zipped. But maybe you opend the Zip file too early so that the file itself was not fully re-parted.
If you don’t want to get a Zip file, you need to batch-download all individual files. Use new www.mycloud.com web based console for this purpose, the older “WD Cloud Desktop” App can do this too but mycloud.com is more stylish.
