Transferring files to My Cloud

I cannot transfer a file larger than 999MB from my MAC computer to a USB external 500 GB HD attached as a share to my 3T My Cloud. Any file over that amount transfers up to 999MB then stops. Any clues as to why this happens? Thanks for any help.

Does this happen locally or on the WD mycloud app ? Also try to copy from finder to see if you get the same issue.
