Transfer Files on My Passport To New PC

I have thousands of photos from an old PC backed  up on a WD MyPassport. The PC that these photos were originally stored on is now broken so I’m trying to transfer them onto my new PC.

When I open WDSmartware on my PC it recognises the passport and shows 177GB of “additional files” are stored on it. However, when I go to the “restore” tab there is no way for me to select these “additional files” to transfer to my new PC. Please help.

Additional files on the drive are files that were backed up or copied to the drive using a different application than the WD Smartware.

To copy those files to the new computer, you will need to use the same backup application that you used before or if it was manually copied, you will need to move the files manually.
