I purhcased the TL-WN721N wireless USb adapter and have not been able to connect to my network through the TV Live Plus though i did get it working through my PC. IS this because the USB adapter i purchased is not supported yet?

No, it’s not supported.
I wouldn’t say “YET,” because there’s no way of knowing if it’s ever going to be supported.
