Ok so I stupidly added this disk to my time machine and I think it just kind of overloaded my drive (see pic) and now it doesn’t show up anywhere except on disk utility. Have I killed it? Just need to retrieve the files. Not loving the “Can be repaired - NO!” part but thought maybe one of you gurus have a solution before it hits the wall.

Well adding the drive on the time machine will not kill the drive, yea it will make the automatic backed up data on the drive which will fill the entire capacity of the drive. If you are not able to access the drive as well as you find issue to import the data on the drive then you can format the drive to isolate the issue.
In order to format the drive, you can follow the instructions mention on the link mention below.
NOTE:- Formatting process is Data Destructive and cannot be undone. Once the process begins, ALL THE DATA ON THE DRIVE WILL BE LOST!
