Thouroughly frustrated with this site

2 1/2 hours and still cannot send a simple email … all i need is for someone to respond with an answer to my problem without wasting my entire day going round in circles on your site…

I do not want to disconnect this device from Dropbox only STOP AUTOMATIC UPLOADS.
When setting up my new WD Passport I selected “never for this device” but it still continues to upload automatically when ever the device is connected. This is a major problem for me as it has used a great portion of my very limited data allowance.
I WANT TO CHOOSE when to upload or backup OR set a schedule for this to occur at a time that suits.

You can change the backup mode from continuous to scheduled mode in the “Backup” tab. The link below to WD’s Knowledge Base provides specific instructions.
