This is Ridiculous!

Its like bad comedy or Karma coming back to bite me in the **bleep**… 

1st off… the backup speeds i was getting would have had me completing 939GB RAID1 in 6 days lol. 

I  stop it so i can return the this useless item and i ended up formatting the drives (why i did that is beyond me) it has been formatting for 3hrs… and its only at 11.56% bleep WD!!!

If i just power off the unit and remove the drives will i cause damage to them? 

Seriously, I can’t believe the nightmare this product has been. lol. 

It’s unfortunate this has been your experience. Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
