I’m new to the forum and I have a question about the WD TV Live. I bought the WD TV Gen 1 model over a year ago and I simply love it. I’m would like to upgrade to the WD TV Live but I have a question regarding the player. I have a lot of MKVs with subtitles and I usually convert to hardsubbed AVIs to play on the media player. I know that I can play MKVs but I don’t really like the way the subs appear. My question is, does this WD TV Live have a MKV player like Windows Media Classic or VLC? I would like to play the MKVs with subs the way they are made.
I would like to know if this is possible before I buy the player. Thank you all so much for help.
