I have a My Passport 0748, it is only two months old…When i connected the external hdd to my Laptop this morning, the prompt for scan and fix came up (usually does every time when connected) I decided to click Scan and Fix for the first time, it finished and I closed the application, but now every time I connect the external hdd to anything it doesn’t show up at all… I have tried looking for the hdd in Computer Management with the Disk management tool, but all that it shows is the normal C drive , the recovery partition and a blank named partition shown below… I have looked in the device manager, and the external hdd does show up there! pic is also below
Any ideas on how to get my External hdd to show up again,I’ve looked all over Google but a majority of the articles I have a less complicated problem, they basically have access to the disk in disk management, where I do not…
