There was a problem connection to the server localness.local, WD N900

As you can see am i trying to connect to my N900 which i have connected to a local port of my modem.

(so no internet via the N900)

if i ping 192.168.1.1 (this ip i use to login the N900 admin, which works!) than i get requested time outs…

so something aint right… 

Why doesnt it ping… and WHAT IS… the PORT it tries to connect to the storage???

i have tried windows XP and mac X 10.7.5

both same no results.

I don’t think WD has made that info public, so I’d give them a call if I were you.
