"There is a problem accessing \\WDMYCLOUD\Public

Hi,

I have my new WDMYCLOUD connected to my computer (via the router) with an ethernet cable to allow faster transfer (as per the suggestion on the yellow sheet in the box).

The problem I encounter is that partway through the copy process I receive a NETWORK ERROR: “There is a problem accesing \WDMYCLOUD\Public”. But the drive is still connected and, using a different window in explorer, I can navigate to that problematic folder without any problem.

Try disabling any firewalls or Antivirus that you might have. You can also try setting a static IP for your My Cloud.
