The WD Sync UI will not launch on a windows 7 notebook


Hopefully someone can help.

I have just installed the latest version of WD Sync on my Windows 7 notebook.

However when I run the WD Sync program from the program menu, the UI that will enable me to configure the WD Sync with my WD Cloud device does not appear.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem and knows how to resolve the issue?

I haven’t seen this specific issue. Can you please reset the My cloud using the reset button on the back of the unit and try that again.


Thanks for your help but I have just figured out the problem - the UI to configure the WD Sync service is launched from the system tray not from the program menu.
