The situation with WD MyCH 6Tb

Hello dear experts!

Please advise on the following situation.

  • NAS WD My Cloud Home 6Tb failed, stopped being detected by the network. Apparently, due to a power failure, damage to the head appeared (I’ve been reported by Service that there was damage).
  • The Service workshop tried to clone the data (supposedly succeeded). They cloned the damaged NAS disk to another medium which is also WD, but a common internal 3.5 for data storage.
  • When I tried to connect cloned disc directly to a computer, a huge number of partitions have been created up to the end of the alphabet, and I’ve ended up with no access to the data I tried to transfer.
  • By using special programs like R-Studio, it shows partitions, including an “unassigned” partition of 5 with something Tb, but there is no file data structure from the damaged disk, so it is impossible to copy something from there to somewhere else.
  • When I tried to connect a cloned disk via a NAS plate over the network, the disk is not being detected, the indicator blinks frequently, which as per the description, is a signal of a connection or file system error.

Please advise what can be done in this situation.
Obviously, the ultimate goal is to rescue data from a damaged drive.
And the question is, of course, what is the best way to do this in the current situation?
Probably I should start over again without cloning, but by searching for the survived information on the damaged disk and copying it point by point?
Thanks in advance for all your comments!
