The S.M.A.R.T Diagnostic Test Failed -- Shout I be concerned?


I have WD Blue 500GB PC SSD installed and everything seems to be working properly. With the Western Digital SSD Dashboard – installed, it puts out a result of “The S.M.A.R.T Diagnostic Test failed.” Should I be concerned? Or, is this a bug in the Dashboard software?

it could be a temporary issue related to one of the test timing out. Run the extended test and if that fails also I would open a support request and send the SMART log for support to review.
